Assignment: Magazine cover
The magazine wanted a warm, late afternoon photograph of a new community shopping center
for the December cover. Scouting the location, we found that sunset would be on the
"wrong" side. A sunrise photograph would work, although it would require setting
up equipment in the dark.
The models, costumes and popcorn cart would be provided by the management company. Workmen would hang the Christmas decorations for the photography, removing them quickly in preparation for the evening's grand opening.
The sun came up at the "right" place and we had another cover photograph (actually, two). One of the photographs was used five years later as the cover of their advertising supplement.
Our work has been used by News Services (The Associated Press, UPI Newspictures and Black Star), Magazines (Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Emory Magazine, Medicine at Emory, Inside Cobb, Inside Gwinnett, Inside Northside and Inside Buckhead), Trade Magazines (like Delta Airlines Frequent Flyer ), Newspapers and Internet Clients.
